SPRING PROGRAMMING OPEN
Shakespeare for Young Actors: Students will have the opportunity to discover Shakespeare's text, explore acting technique, and uncover their own voices constructively with their peers. Prior experience with Shakespeare's text - or any acting at all! - is not required. Monologue, sonnet, and scene work will be used to encourage creativity, complex thought, empathy, and confidence in our students. While students are free to bring text they'd like to work on, scenes and monologues will be assigned. Class will culminate in an evening showcase, date TBA.
Music Video Workshops: Spend the days off of school making a super original, super fun, and super empowering music video to a top 40 pop song with a positive message. Links to share with friends and family ready within 48 hours of the workshop.
Movie Camp: The week's work culminates in a special red carpet PREMIERE celebration as we gather friends and family to watch our 20-30 minute short film on the big screen. Everyone gets an online link of the movie as a souvenir of the camp's accomplishments, as well as an award illustrating their personal strengths.
